Other Scales & Gauges

The range of options is akin to the old question “How long is a piece of string?”

We do not cater for all, but if members come along with a plan then we are always prepared to consider, subject to space availability and cost.

O-16.5 The best way of describing this is to think of the narrow gauge trains to be found in Wales. Basically it is 7mm/ft (O) running on OO track (16.5).

Rumbow Edge

HO This is true half (H) O gauge (O) and is 3.5mm/ft.  It is widely used in Continental Europe using a track gauge of 16.5 mm which is then very close to standard gauge.

This scale is presently represented by the CanAm layout on the mezzanine

F

Odd Scale This is how we describe our Far Twittering layout - for obvious reasons.  It runs on 16.5mm track.

Far Twittering & Oysterperch
